Ingredients
 

  • 200 g Flour
  • 50 g Ground almonds
  • 100 g Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon peel flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Ground anise
  • 150 g Butter
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 10 Milliliters Ouzo
  • Powdered sugar
  • Winter decor sprinkles
  • 6 tablespoon Plum jam

Instructions
 

  • Mix the flour with the almonds, powdered sugar, flavor and anise in a bowl. Add the butter and egg yolk. Knead into a smooth dough. Wrap in cling film and place in the refrigerator for an hour.
  • Roll out the dough on a little flour. Cut out biscuits with and without a hole (half each). Bake in the oven at 175 degrees for about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  • Beat icing sugar with lemon juice and ouzo until smooth. Glaze the biscuits with holes with it. Spread the sprinkles on top. Let dry.
  • Heat the plum jam. Brush the biscuits without a hole with it and press the glazed biscuits on top.
