Ingredients
- 200 g Flour
- 50 g Ground almonds
- 100 g Powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon Lemon peel flavor
- 1 teaspoon Ground anise
- 150 g Butter
- 1 Egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 10 Milliliters Ouzo
- Powdered sugar
- Winter decor sprinkles
- 6 tablespoon Plum jam
Instructions
- Mix the flour with the almonds, powdered sugar, flavor and anise in a bowl. Add the butter and egg yolk. Knead into a smooth dough. Wrap in cling film and place in the refrigerator for an hour.
- Roll out the dough on a little flour. Cut out biscuits with and without a hole (half each). Bake in the oven at 175 degrees for about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
- Beat icing sugar with lemon juice and ouzo until smooth. Glaze the biscuits with holes with it. Spread the sprinkles on top. Let dry.
- Heat the plum jam. Brush the biscuits without a hole with it and press the glazed biscuits on top.
