Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 350 g beans, green
- Salt
- 8 slice(s) bacon, streaky (thin slices)
- 2 tbsp oil
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Wash and trim the beans, then cook in boiling salted water for 8-10 minutes until slightly crisp. Drain the beans in a sieve, rinse in cold water, and drain well. Divide the beans into 8 portions. Wrap each portion tightly in the middle with a slice of bacon. Heat oil in a pan. Place the bean parcels in the pan with the bacon seam down and fry briefly. Then fry for another 2-3 minutes on all sides. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Tip: You can also use frozen beans for this recipe. Blanch them in boiling salted water for just 2-3 minutes, rinse, drain, and wrap in bacon. 167 kcal per portion.
