Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 3 bulbs of fennel
- 1 vegetable onion(s)
- 4 garlic cloves
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
- Sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Cut the fennel bulbs into very fine strips. Chop the fresh greens and set aside. Heat olive oil in a pan. Fry the fennel strips over high heat for about 5 minutes. Add the half-sliced onion and chopped garlic. Season with salt, pepper, and a tablespoon of sugar. The fennel should be golden yellow and still al dente. Sprinkle the fresh fennel greens over the dish before serving.
