Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup of whole milk yogurt 150 g
  • 5 eggs, M
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 1 lemon(s), organic
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Pour the yogurt into a bowl. Clean the bowl and use it to measure the other ingredients. Mix together the yogurt, eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, and oil. Grate the lemon zest and stir in. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir in briefly. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan dusted with breadcrumbs (or flour) and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (160°C fan-assisted oven) for 50–60 minutes. Squeeze the lemon. Mix together the powdered sugar and enough lemon juice to make a spreadable glaze. Remove the cake from the oven. Drizzle the remaining lemon juice over the still-hot cake. Let it cool. Cover with lemon glaze. 246 kcal per serving.
