Aperol Spritzer

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 40 g Aperol
  • 180 g dry white wine, e.g. Welschriesling
  • 120 g sparkling soda water

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

THE optimal mix

Not without warning about the harmful effects of alcohol, and repelled by the mostly poorly prepared Aperol Spritzers available in local restaurants, I heroically discovered the optimal mixing ratio for myself (and my circle of friends) through long series of tests. I don’t want to withhold this from the world: First, add 40g of Aperol to a nice, bulbous glass, followed by 180g of dry white wine, and then 120g of soda water – that’s it. By adding the sparkling soda last, the whole thing mixes itself without stirring. Caution! Two points to bear in mind: 1. The white wine must be absolutely dry, otherwise the whole thing will taste absolutely nothing! 2. Don’t use ice – melting the ice will change the mixing ratio!
