Apple and onion chutney

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 240 g apples (Boskoop)
  • 120 g onion(s)
  • 20 g cane sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ chili pepper(s)
  • 1 star anise
  • 20 ml fruit vinegar
  • 1 tsp, leveled turmeric
  • 1 tsp, leveled pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

1. Peel and chop the apples and onions, and add them to a pot with all the ingredients. 2. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes. 3.
