Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 100 ml rapeseed oil
  • 3 m.-sized apples
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), including the pulp
  • 300 g flour
  • 10 g baking powder
  • 110 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel and core the apples, and cut them into large pieces. Mix together the low-fat quark, rapeseed oil, vanilla seeds, and sugar. Then knead in the flour and baking powder by hand, and finally add the apples. Coarser pieces make the balls extra moist. Form 6-9 balls and bake at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 25 minutes. If desired, you can roll them in sugar and cinnamon while they’re still hot.
