Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g flour
- 125 g butter
- 80 g sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 kg apples
- 500 g milk
- 500 g cream
- 100 g sugar
- 2 pts. pudding powder, vanilla
- 2 egg yolks
- 50 g almond flakes
- ½ lemon(s), juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 55 minutes
Dough: Knead the flour with sugar, butter, egg and salt into a smooth dough and wrap in cling film. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Filling: Meanwhile, peel and quarter the apples, remove the cores and drizzle with the lemon juice. Bring 400 ml of milk to a boil with the cream and sugar. Mix the custard powder with the remaining milk and stir into the boiling cream. Skim off a few tablespoons of the hot custard, mix it with the egg yolk and then stir into the hot custard. Grease a 26 cm springform pan. Knead the dough again and roll it out until the edges can be pulled up. Prick the base several times with a fork. Place the apple quarters next to each other and spread the custard cream over them. Sprinkle the almond flakes evenly on top. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for approx. 50-55 minutes.
