Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg apples
  • 2 onions
  • 100 g sugar
  • 150 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 250 ml dry white wine
  • 2 tbsp ground pepper
  • 2 tbsp pepper, green, whole
  • 2 tbsp paprika powder, hot
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 20 ml soy sauce
  • 2 pinches of clove powder
  • 2 pinches of allspice powder
  • 1 pinch of garlic powder
  • 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper
  • 75 ml oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Peel, quarter, and core the apples. Peel and finely chop the onions. Heat the oil in a pan and lightly brown the onions. Add the apple pieces and deglaze with white wine and apple cider vinegar. Add all the remaining ingredients except the ground pepper and simmer for 20 minutes. After this time, add the ground pepper. While still hot, pour into prepared screw-top jars and seal immediately.
