Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 800 g tomatoes
- 250 g onion(s)
- 360 g peach(s), pickled
- 2 chili peppers, fresh red
- 3 tbsp oil
- 6 cloves
- 150 ml vinegar (red wine vinegar)
- 150 g brown sugar
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
Instructions

Make a cross-shaped incision in the tomatoes, blanch them in hot water, and peel off the skin. Remove the seeds. Cut the tomatoes into thin wedges. Peel and quarter the onions, then cut these quarters into strips. Split the chili peppers, remove the seeds, and chop them finely. Cut the peaches into thin wedges. Finely dice some of the peaches so they cook completely. Heat the oil and fry the onions until translucent. Add the remaining ingredients and the spices. Cook over medium heat for at least 20 minutes. Cook for longer to evaporate more liquid, depending on your taste. Season to taste. Pour the chutney into clean jars while it’s still hot.
