Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g flour
  • 130 g sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Grease for the tray
  • 900 g apples (Boskop)
  • 500 g flour
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 400 g sugar
  • 300 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

For the shortcrust pastry, knead the ingredients together and roll them out on a greased baking sheet. Peel, core, and chop the apples, and spread them on the shortcrust pastry. Make a thick crumble from the crumble ingredients. It’s best to mix roughly with a food processor, then work it in with your hands and spread it on the apples. Bake at 200°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack for about 45 minutes.
