Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g apple (apple rings), dried
  • 3 tbsp rum or apple juice
  • 150 g hazelnuts, grated
  • 5 tbsp honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • some rum flavor
  • 50 g oat flakes
  • 75 g chocolate coating of your choice
  • n. B. Hazelnuts, whole
  • n. B. Wafers, small

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Chop the apple rings very finely, drizzle with rum or apple juice, and let rest for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, lightly roast the whole hazelnuts without adding any fat. Beat the eggs with salt and rum flavoring until frothy. Then add the honey and grated hazelnuts. Mix the oats and apple pieces and stir into the mixture. Place 2 teaspoons of batter onto each wafer and press a roasted hazelnut into the center. Place on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 20 minutes. Decorate the pastry with melted chocolate coating of your choice.
