Apple-peach porridge from the 7th month

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 apple
  • 1 peach(s)
  • Water
  • 1 tsp oil, e.g. rapeseed oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Baby food, fruit puree

Place the peach in a bowl and pour hot water (e.g. from a kettle) over it, and let it sit for a while. In the meantime, peel the apple, cut it into pieces, and remove the core. Place the apple pieces in a saucepan with a little water, bring to a boil, and then simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes. When the apple is ready, remove it from the heat, peel the soaked peach, cut the peach into pieces, remove the core, and add it to the apple. Puree everything – if you don’t have enough water, you can add a little more. It’s better to use less water than to waste valuable vitamins! Add the oil to the ready-to-serve puree at the end. If you want to make larger quantities and freeze them, add the oil while heating. I recommend using a mild apple variety, such as Golden Delicious, Cox Orange, Elstar, Jonagold, Pink Lady, or Braeburn. Of course, you can try any other.
