Ingredients
 

  • 1 kg Apple fresh
  • 400 g Flour
  • 200 g Lard / fat
  • 170 g Sugar
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 6 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 4 tbsp Soft wheat semolina
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 150 g Sugar
  • Icing sugar for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Put the flour and lard in a bowl and mix into crumbs. Add 170 g sugar, 1 egg and 1 egg yolk, the milk and the baking powder and work into a smooth dough. Put in the fridge for half an hour.
  • Grease a rectangular enamel dish and dust it with flour. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
  • Take half of the dough out of the refrigerator, roll out and place on the bottom of the pan. Press gently everywhere, but not up the walls.
  • Peel and grate the apples and immediately place on the batter. Mix the semolina with the cinnamon and 150 g sugar and pour onto the apple mixture.
  • Roll out the second half of the dough in the same way and place on the mixture.
  • Approx. Bake for 40 minutes.
