Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 360 g apple compote
  • 4 tbsp cloudy apple juice
  • 500 g kefir
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp sugar, brown
  • 1 tsp, smothered cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp syrup, hazelnut
  • lemon(s)
  • Lemon balm

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Puree the apple compote and mix 4 tablespoons of it with apple juice. Blend the remaining apple compote with kefir, lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, and syrup until smooth and chill for about 1 hour. Pour the apple mixture into 4 glasses and pour over the kefir mixture. Garnish with lemon slices and lemon balm, if desired, and serve with straws.
