Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 375 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 130 g butter, melted
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 175 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 250 ml sour cream
  • 1 kg apples
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g raisins
  • some butter, melted for spreading

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Sift the flour into a bowl. Knead with salt, 50g butter, the egg, and 125ml milk to form a soft dough. Divide the dough into two patties and brush with a little fat. Let rest in a warm room for 1-2 hours. For the filling, thinly slice the apples. Mix with the remaining ingredients. Roll out the dough into an oblong shape and pour the apple and cream mixture into the center. Fold the dough over the mixture and seal. Brush with melted butter and bake for 30-45 minutes at 170°C (fan oven). Serve with vanilla sauce or ice cream.
