Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 jar apple compote
- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 50 g almond sticks or almond flakes
- Raisins
- 3 tbsp cinnamon sugar

because we love apple strudel sticks so much…
Lay out a sheet of puff pastry and spread the apple compote evenly over the dough. Then scatter some cinnamon sugar, slivered almonds, and perhaps raisins, etc. on top. Cover with the second sheet of pastry. Cut everything into strips about 1-1.5 cm wide, halve them, and then twist them into spirals. Bake according to the package instructions for the puff pastry until golden brown and serve lukewarm. The sticks also taste delicious cooled. We sprinkled them with a little cinnamon sugar. Tip: If you have a bit more time, you can use 2-3 grated apples instead of apple compote; they taste even better.
