Apple turnovers with vanilla pudding

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 sheets of puff pastry
  • 3 apples
  • 200 g quark
  • 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • some lemon juice

Instructions

quick and easy, makes 12 apple turnovers

Peel the apples, cut them into small cubes, and drizzle with lemon juice. Separate one egg and set aside. For the filling, put the quark, custard powder, sugar, and one egg in a bowl and beat until frothy. Halve each sheet of puff pastry and roll it out into a square. Top the squares with the filling and apples, then fold them together to form triangles. Brush the edges of the parcels with egg white and press flat with a fork. Brush the parcels with egg yolk and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Serve the apple parcels with the remaining apple cubes. Tip: Cherries can also be used instead of apples.
