Applesauce cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 150 g quark
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 jars of applesauce
  • 180 g butter
  • 250 g flour
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Preheat oven (convection oven: 180°C, top/bottom heat: 200°C). For the dough, place all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a dough hook or clean hands until smooth. Spread the dough onto the baking sheet. Line with baking paper if necessary. For the topping, first spread the applesauce over the dough. Then, in a bowl, mix the remaining ingredients into crumbles and spread them over the applesauce. Bake everything in a hot oven for 20-30 minutes. It tastes best when still slightly warm, but it will keep for a few days.
