Apricot Chocolate Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 18 apricots
  • 200 g butter
  • 160 g sugar
  • 7 eggs, including the yolk
  • 200 g chocolate
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 7 eggs, of which the egg white
  • Butter, for the baking tray
  • Flour, for the baking sheet

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Combine butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg yolks, then stir in melted chocolate. Sift the flour with the baking powder and stir in. Beat the egg whites until stiff and gently fold in. Spread onto a greased and floured baking sheet. Top with halved apricots (cut-side up) and bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes.
