Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 puff pastry (ready-made)
  • 150 g apricot jam
  • some cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

when things have to go quickly

Preheat oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Roll out the puff pastry and spread with the jam. Sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired. Now roll the puff pastry up from both long sides to the center. Using a sharp knife, cut the strudel into thin slices. (If it’s difficult to cut, place it briefly in the freezer to firm up the dough.) Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about 10-12 minutes.
