Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 180 g celery
- 5 g ginger
- 1 Jalapeño(s), red
- 30 g onion(s), red
- 6 cherry tomatoes
- 1 tbsp soy sauce, light
- 1 dashes fish sauce
- 1 tbsp lime juice or lemon juice
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp sesame oil or rapeseed oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 24 minutes
Cut the cleaned celery into thin slices. Slice the onion into strips. Deseed the jalapeño peppers and slice them into thin strips. Quarter the cherry tomatoes. Finely chop the ginger. Steam the celery slices and ginger in a saucepan with a small splash of water, covered, for about 3-4 minutes. Transfer the celery and ginger to a bowl with 2 tablespoons of the cooking water. Mix in the jalapeño peppers and onion strips. Stir in the soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, honey, and tomato quarters, and marinate for about 2 hours. Then add the oil, mix, and season to taste.
