Food combining recipe protein
Heat a wok or a high-sided non-stick pan and fry the minced meat, then the onion and garlic until crispy. Add the vegetables (except the bamboo/mung bean sprouts) and fry briefly. Season with the ginger powder, coriander, sambal oelek, soy sauce, chili, and pepper. Pour in the stock, stir through, and simmer covered for 15 minutes over medium heat. Drain the bamboo/mung bean sprouts and add them after 10 minutes of cooking. Soak the glass noodles in cold water for 10 minutes. Remove, drain well, and cut into pieces with scissors. Add the glass noodles to the minced meat and vegetables, mix well, and let simmer covered for 5 minutes over low heat. Season with soy sauce and sambal oelek to taste. Tip: If you’re not following a food combining diet, you can cook 200g of rice instead of the glass noodles and stir it in.
