Asian shrimp noodle pan

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 400 g noodles (Chow Mein, Asian)
  • 400 g shrimp(s)
  • 4 carrots
  • 2 stalk(s) leeks
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 200 g sugar snap peas
  • 100 ml sauce (teriyaki marinade)
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp oil (sesame oil)
  • Pepper and/or Sambal Oelek
  • 1 bottle of sweet and sour sauce
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Marinate the shrimp in the teriyaki sauce with pepper for about 2 hours. Prepare the noodles. Clean and chop the vegetables. Trim the stems from the snow peas. Heat the sesame oil in a wok and stir-fry the vegetables for about 5 minutes. Then add the shrimp with the teriyaki marinade and the cooked noodles and stir-fry for another 5 minutes. Now add the sweet and sour sauce and season with sambal oelek, if desired. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
