Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 tbsp honey (flower honey)
- 4 tbsp vinegar (fruit vinegar)
- 3 tsp tomato paste, 3-fold concentrated
- Sugar, to taste
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp sherry
- 2 tbsp oil (sesame oil)
- 75 ml water
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp pineapple pieces, finely chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Mix the starch with the water until smooth. Stir all other ingredients in a saucepan until smooth. Heat, add the starch-water mixture, and bring to a boil. This sauce is perfect for any Asian dish that requires a sweet and sour flavor.
