Asparagus sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 20 g margarine
  • 20 g flour
  • 250 ml vegetable stock (cooking water from the asparagus)
  • Salt
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Heat the margarine in a saucepan. Then add the flour and sauté until lightly browned. Add enough asparagus water, stirring with a whisk, until the sauce thickens and comes to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Season with salt and nutmeg. Serve with the asparagus.
