Asparagus with Gorgonzola sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 500 g asparagus, green
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 100g Gorgonzola
  • 150 ml milk
  • 1 salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 40 g walnuts

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the asparagus into 3 cm long pieces and blanch in boiling salted water for 5 minutes, then drain. Chop the onion and sauté in the oil until translucent. Cut the cheese into small pieces, add to the onions, and stir to melt. Then add the milk while stirring. Add just enough milk to keep the sauce creamy. Season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Chop the walnuts and add to the sauce. Mix the asparagus into the sauce and heat through. The sauce also goes well with pasta and other vegetables.
