Asparagus with Strawberries and New Potatoes

The perfect asparagus with strawberries and new potatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 600 g Fresh Nienburger asparagus
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 piece Lemon
  • 300 g Strawberries
  • 150 g New potatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Basil leaves
  1. Peel the asparagus with the peeler, cook in water with salt (1 teaspoon), sugar (1 teaspoon), butter (1 tbsp) and lemon (1 piece) for 7 – 8 minutes until al dente and remove. Remove the stalk base from the strawberries and wash. Clean the potatoes well with a brush, cook in salted water (1 teaspoon salt) for about 20 minutes and drain. Serve asparagus with strawberries and new potatoes, garnished with strawberry halves and basil leaves.
