Aunt Dora's Cookies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 ½ packets of vanilla sugar
  • Flour for the work surface

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

for cutting out, enough for 3 baking trays

Combine all ingredients and finally knead the mixture with your hands until you have a smooth dough. Flour the work surface, cut out cookies in the desired shapes, and place them on a prepared baking sheet. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 15 minutes. Decorate the cookies as desired, but they taste great on their own too. The specified amount is enough for about 3 baking sheets. This recipe comes from my great-aunt Dora, who made these cookies by the bucketful for the whole family.
