Avocado And Ginger: These Foods Cure Over 30 Diseases

Everyone knows by now that both avocado and ginger are healthy foods. The fact that the two superfoods combined can prevent and even cure over 30 diseases is new even to experts.

Instead of taking pills, how about just eating some avocado and a piece of ginger every day if it would make all your health worries go away without any side effects? Hundreds of studies have proven its effectiveness – and continue to surprise and inspire scientists to this day.
Superpowered Foods: What Makes Both So Special, So Much Better Than All The Other “Superfoods”? There is almost nothing where they cannot help: Gingerol and shogaol, the typical “spicing agents” of ginger, stimulate our digestive secretions, have germicidal properties, and have a detoxifying effect on the blood, mucous membranes, and intestines. The avocado is in no way inferior: it has an incredibly high nutrient density, consists of 25 percent so-called good fats, and provides us with almost 20 vitamins and minerals. Curious? Avocado and ginger as a “multifunctional drug”: Our expert Dr. Matthew Riedl.

Whether eyes, bones, or digestion – a portion of the two superfoods not only prevents ailments anywhere in the body but often even cures them. Nutritionist Dr. Matthias Riedl explains why the way to health is through the stomach. “An incredible amount can be achieved with the right diet. However, very few take advantage of this opportunity. Not even many doctors. And that is fatal, ”said the doctor. “My team treats around 50,000 patients a year, and in 95 percent the diet is the cause of the disease. Diabetes, high blood pressure, or vascular calcification can be fodder, that’s a well-known fact. But we also know that half of all cancers are behavioral.” Of course, everyone now thinks of triggers like alcohol or smoking, but that’s not true. The wrong diet accounts for a lion’s share in the development of diseases. And then, of course, food can and must also be used as therapy. However, this treatment approach is rarely used for diet-related health problems.

That’s why avocado is so good for the eyes

The avocado contains two different carotenoids (plant pigments) that are important for eye health: lutein and zeaxanthin act as so-called antioxidants – i.e. they protect our cells from harmful influences. As a result, avocado prevents the development of age-related eye damage. Daily consumption also protects the delicate tissue of the eye from damage caused by the sun’s rays – but that doesn’t mean that it can replace sunglasses. In addition, the superfruit reduces the risk of suffering from cataracts or age-related macular degeneration. Researchers at Tufts University / USA came to this conclusion.

Avocado helps with obesity

Avocado has a high proportion of dietary fiber – and that helps us lose weight. According to a study by the University of Massachusetts, 30 grams of fiber per day leads to better diet success – a medium-sized avocado contains about 12 to 14 grams. The fruit also keeps you full for longer and thus protects against food cravings.

Avocado normalizes blood lipid levels

Researchers at Pennsylvania State University have found that eating an avocado every day has a positive effect on cholesterol levels. Because the unsaturated fatty acids and the high fiber content help to reduce the bad cholesterol (“LDL”) and triglycerides extremely strongly: The avocado diet lowers the LDL value in the blood by 13.5 mg/dl, while a low-fat diet lowers the blood lipid value reduced by only 7.4 mg/dl. This prevents vascular calcification and reduces the risk of a heart attack.

Avocado promotes muscle growth

For our body to be able to build muscle, it needs a wide range of amino acids such as arginine, threonine, leucine, valine, and isoleucine in addition to protein. And they are contained in the avocado. The muscles are broken down again without these amino acids, and they are also needed for many other processes in the body. And in times of stress or injuries, the need is even higher. Therefore eat an avocado every day during these phases.

Avocado fights cancer

The avocado has proven its talent as an antioxidant in some tumors, including oral, skin, and prostate cancer. A study by the Ohio State University shows that their plant substances specifically detect precancerous cells, inhibit their growth, or even destroy them. In addition, scientists at the University of Waterloo found that a certain fat called avocatin B specifically attacks cancer cells in acute myeloid leukemia. And: While it destroys mutated blood stem cells, it spares the healthy ones so that intact blood cells can continue to be formed.

Avocado stops bad breath

Bad breath is often triggered by digestive or stomach problems and is often related to bacterial colonization of the mucous membranes of the mouth, throat, or digestive tract. The anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant flavonoids help here. They fight bacteria in the mouth, stomach, and intestines.
