Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 500 g spirals
- 250 g bacon, diced
- 200 g sweet cream
- 200 g sour cream
- 250 ml beef broth, dissolved
- 1 onion(s)
- salt and pepper
- curry powder
- Paprika powder
- possibly chili powder
- possibly garlic powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Prepare the spirelli according to the package instructions. In the meantime, finely dice the onion and fry with the bacon in a deep pan until translucent. No extra oil is needed. Add the beef broth and bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat to medium, slowly stir in the two types of cream and season well. Be careful with the salt, as the bacon may overcook. Drain the pasta and immediately stir into the sauce, then simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally and seasoning to taste. The bacon pasta tastes even better reheated. For a nice visual effect, stir in some chives. When cooled and topped with a pickle, this makes a delicious pasta salad.
