Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 kg potatoes
- 2 onions
- 3 gherkins
- 1 liter meat broth
- Vinegar
- salt and pepper
- Sugar
- 200 g bacon, lean
- 3 tbsp cucumber juice

sweet and sour lukewarm potato salad
Boil the potatoes and let them cool. Finely dice the onions. Make a broth with the onions and broth, bring to a boil, and season with 3 tablespoons of pickle juice, vinegar, salt, pepper, and sugar to taste. Pour the broth into a casserole dish. Peel the potatoes and add them to the broth in slices to prevent them from sticking together. Then add the finely diced gherkins and fold them in. Fry the finely chopped bacon in a non-stick pan and add it to the salad. To marinate, place the potato salad in the oven at 100°C for 1/2 hour. Serve warm!
