Ingredients

  • 500 g Wheat flour 550
  • 320 -340 ml Water warm
  • 15 g Salt
  • 1 cube Fresh yeast

Instructions

  • Dissolve the yeast in warm water. Mix the flour and salt. Then knead everything well and form a ball. Flour and cover! Let rise for 1 hour until the dough has doubled.
  • Then knead the dough well with a little flour and press flat into a rectangle and knead the corners in the middle a few times. Shape into a ball again, flour the bowl and let rise for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes do the same from the beginning and a total of 3 times!
  • Now divide the dough into 3 parts and roll the baguette. Brush with a little water, flour and cut into it. I put the dough pieces in a special baguette baking tray with holes! But also works without it! 🙂 Now let rise again for 15 minutes and at the same time preheat the oven to 220 ° degrees circulating air!
  • Then bake the baguette in the oven, middle rack for 20 minutes! If you like, put a bowl of water under the sheet! 🙂 Then cool down and try lukewarm with butter & salt! 😀 Hhhhhhmmm ...
