Bailey's cake with strawberry cream

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 m.-sized eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 250 ml Baileys Irish Cream
  • 250 ml oil
  • 300 g flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 3 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 2 packs of cream stiffener
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 500 g strawberries
  • n. B. Chocolate shavings

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

For the batter, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Add the Bailey’s and oil and mix well. Then combine the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder and stir into the batter. Spread the batter on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for about 35-40 minutes. Afterward, let the cake cool completely. For the topping, wash and hull the strawberries and cut them into pieces. You can set aside a few whole strawberries for decoration. Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar, cream stabilizer, and sugar to taste—I use about 1 tablespoon—until stiff peaks form. Mix the strawberries into the cream and spread it on the cooled cake. Finally, decorate the cake with chocolate shavings and strawberries.
