Baked Apples with Cranberries and Vanilla Ice Cream

The perfect baked apples with cranberries and vanilla ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Pc. Apple
  • 0,5 Cup Sugar brown
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 0,25 Cup Walnuts
  • 0,25 Cup Cranberries
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1 Cup Water
  1. Remove the lid from the apples (about 2 cm high) and set aside. Scoop out apples with a teaspoon until there is a wall about 1-5 cm thick.
  2. Mix the sugar, cinnamon, walnuts and cranberries in a bowl. Spread the mixture evenly over the two apples. Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the mixture. Close the apples with the lid.
  3. Place the apples in an ovenproof baking dish. Fill the mold about two fingers high with water.
  4. Bake at 200 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.
