Chilli Apples with Vanilla Ice Cream

The perfect chilli apples with vanilla ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2,5 Pc. Apple
  • 1 Pc. Chilli pepper
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 shot Fruit schnapps
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 5 Pc. Vanilla ice cream balls
  1. Let the sugar melt in the pan and deglaze with the fruit schnapps. Let the sugar become soft again!
  2. Add the unpeeled apples cut into strips and toss until all the apple strips are covered with the sugary mixture. Don’t let it get too soft! It should keep its bite! Add a pinch of salt and pour the chilli pepper or a comparable amount of dried chilli over it. When it comes to spiciness, pay attention to the tastes of the guests (e.g. children)!
  3. Then arrange the apple strips on a half-round plate and put a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the middle.
