Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg asparagus
- 1 bunch parsley (or mixed herbs)
- 50 g butter
- Salt
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Peel the asparagus and trim the ends. Finely chop the parsley or herbs. Place 5-6 asparagus spears on a piece of aluminum foil, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and the herbs, and top with butter flakes. Fold the aluminum foil into a parcel. Repeat with the remaining asparagus, placing the parcels on an ovenproof dish. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and cook the asparagus for about 30 minutes. Open the parcels; the asparagus will be lightly browned in places and have a wonderfully intense, slightly nutty flavor.
