Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g cannelloni (without pre-cooking)
- 300 g minced beef
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 300 g tomatoes
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 40 g flour
- 35 g butter
- 500 ml milk
- Salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
- 200 g cheese (gratin cheese)
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Heat oil in a pan and fry the finely chopped onions and garlic until translucent. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly, season with salt and pepper. Stir in tomato paste. Finely chop the tomato, add the pieces, and heat through. Melt the butter, add the flour, and continue stirring until the sauce is thick but still runny. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour the minced meat sauce into the pasta rolls. Pour a layer of béchamel sauce into a baking dish, then arrange the filled pasta rolls on top. Pour the remaining sauce over the sauce. Finally, sprinkle with the cheese. Bake in the oven (electric oven: 200°C / fan oven 180°C) for 10 minutes until golden brown.
