Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 250 g blackberries
- 250 g currants
- 500 g raspberries
- 250 g strawberries
- 20 g cornstarch
- 500 ml juice (bottled berry juice)
- 100 g sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Mix the cornstarch with 4 tablespoons of the berry juice. Bring the remaining berry juice and sugar to a boil, thicken with the cornstarch, and remove from the heat. Stir in the fruit and pour everything into a bowl. Finally, chill the red fruit compote. Serve with whipped cream or, if the compote is still warm, with vanilla ice cream!
