Baked chicken breast with peas

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g peas
  • 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 30 g butter
  • ⅛ liter broth
  • 125 g cheese (Emmental)
  • Fat, for the shape
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Fry the chicken breast fillets in hot oil for 5-7 minutes on each side, season with salt and pepper, and set aside. Melt the butter in a saucepan, sauté the peas, add the broth, and sauté for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, grate the cheese and grease a baking dish. Add the peas, season with pepper, salt, and nutmeg. Place the chicken breast fillets on top, sprinkle with the cheese, and bake in a preheated oven at 250°C for about 5 minutes.
