Baked Chinese cabbage with cheese crust

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 Chinese cabbage
  • 30 ml cream
  • 100 g oat flakes
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 100 g cheese, Emmental or Gouda
  • 125 ml vegetable stock
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the Chinese cabbage, halve or quarter it depending on its size, and steam it in boiling salted water for about 3-4 minutes. Place it cut-side up in a casserole dish. Bring the sweet cream to a boil briefly, add the oats, then heat the cheese and garlic until a creamy sauce forms. Add the parsley, season generously with salt and pepper, and pour the sauce over the cabbage. Pour a little broth over the cabbage halves in the dish and let everything brown until golden brown.
