Ingredients

  • 0,5 packet Dry yeast
  • 40 g Sugar
  • 120 ml Milk
  • 240 g Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 200 ml Beer
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Honey liquid
  • Fruit

Instructions

  • First warm up the milk and add 5 tablespoons to the yeast. Add the sugar and stir.
  • Mix the rest of the milk with the flour and beer. Separate the eggs and stir in the yolks. Add the yeast mixture, stir and let rest for approx. 1 hour (covered).
  • Beat the egg white with a pinch of salt until stiff and carefully fold into the yeast mixture.
  • Either you use the deep fryer, or you take a high pan / saucepan and add plenty of fat. Let it get hot (if a wooden spoon throws bubbles when you hold it in, the oil is hot enough).
  • Chop the fruit (I used pineapples, plums, bananas and apples) and turn in the batter with a spoon or fork. Then place in the hot fat and bake until golden brown and briefly put on kitchen paper. Then garnish with a little honey. Finished!
  • TIP: It also works with a fondue pot and you can use it to prepare delicious vegetables yourself. However, only use a pinch of sugar instead of the 40g.
