Baked mushrooms

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g mushrooms
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 pack of grated mozzarella, approx. 200 g
  • 1 pack of feta cheese, approx. 200 g
  • 2 rolls or 5 slices of toast
  • olive oil
  • n. B. herbs, e.g. thyme, oregano, basil, rosemary
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Clean the mushrooms and break off or trim the stems. Place the caps upside down in an oiled baking dish. Finely chop the stems and garlic and mix with the herbs from the Italian herb garden. Finely dice the bread rolls or toast and mix in. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with a generous splash of olive oil. Finely chop the mozzarella and feta, add them, and mix everything well. Spread the mixture over the mushrooms. They will disappear under the mixture. Bake in the oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes until crispy and brown.
