Baked plaice with bacon

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 portions of fish fillet(s) (plaice fillet)
  • 60 g smoked bacon, streaky
  • 5 tbsp flour
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • Salt and pepper, white from the mill
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • some oil
  • some parsley, roughly chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the plates! Cut the bacon into small cubes. Wash the plaice, pat dry, and drizzle with lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Coat in flour and fry in hot oil for 5-7 minutes on both sides until golden brown, ideally in two pans at the same time. Fry the bacon cubes in the frying fat until crispy. Add the butter and let it foam. Arrange the plaice on the preheated plates and top with the bacon. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve with boiled potatoes and a green salad.
