Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg potato(s), waxy
- 2 cloves garlic
- 6 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 4 tbsp sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper, freshly ground
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F), fan/convection oven to 180°C (350°F). Combine the oil with the peeled and crushed garlic cloves. Peel the potatoes and cut them into wedges. Toss them in a bowl with the oil and garlic mixture. Arrange the potatoes in a large casserole dish or on a baking sheet, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake the potatoes for 40-50 minutes until tender, turning occasionally. They taste great as a side dish for barbecue.
