Baked rolls with minced meat

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 6 m.-sized rolls, for baking, or 12 small
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 handful of cocktail tomatoes
  • 2 balls of mozzarella
  • 1 bag of cheese, grated, not quite needed
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • ½ tube(s) tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp mustard, heaped
  • e.g. Tabasco

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic, fry in oil, and let cool. Cut the cherry tomatoes into quarters or sixths, depending on their size. Thoroughly mix the minced meat with the onion and garlic mix, the tomatoes, tomato paste, and mustard, and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add a little Tabasco for a little extra spice. Add additional seasonings to taste. Cut open the bread rolls and spread the minced meat mixture on top. This is best done with a fork. Slice the mozzarella and cover one half of the rolls with it. Spread the grated cheese on the other half of the rolls. You can also mix the cheese. Bake in the oven at 200°C for approx. 25-30 minutes.
