Baked spaghetti squash

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pumpkin(s) , (spaghetti squash)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 sprigs rosemary
  • olive oil
  • Salt (Fleur de Sel)
  • Pepper, black from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Serve as a main course with salad, also very tasty as a side dish

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Wash and halve the pumpkin. Scrape out the seeds with a spoon. Peel and slice the garlic, and strip the rosemary needles from the sprigs. Mix both with the olive oil and brush the pumpkin halves with it. Season with salt and pepper. Place cut-side up in the oven and cook for about 45 minutes. The cooking time depends on the size of the pumpkin. When the flesh is soft, remove the garlic and rosemary with a spoon. Scoop out the flesh; it will crumble into “spaghetti.” Serve with the garlic and rosemary as a topping.
