Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pack of frozen wonton pastry (available at Asian stores)
  • 1 chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 50 g pork
  • 1 garlic clove(s), possibly more
  • coriander
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 liter vegetable oil
  • Chili sauce, Thai

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Thaw the puff pastry. Chop the chicken breast and pork into small pieces. Place them in a blender and puree with spices, soy sauce, and egg yolk. Form into small balls (2-3 cm in diameter) and place on each puff pastry sheet. Fold the puff pastry over, tuck in the right and left corners, and press down. Heat the oil. Deep-fry the wontons until they are nicely browned. Serve with Thai chili sauce for dipping.
