Baking: Easter Cake
The perfect baking: easter cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
the dough
- 200 g Quark
- 6 tablespoon Milk
- 125 ml Neutral cooking oil
- 100 g Sugar
- 400 g Flour type 550
- 1,5 packet Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
1. Filling
- 250 g Poppy seed baking – NOT homemade this time

- 150 g Ground hazelnuts
- 50 g Sugar
- 75 ml Cream
3. Filling
- 150 g Quark
- 25 g Semolina
- 50 g Sugar
- 1 piece Egg yolk
- 0,5 teaspoon Grated orange peel
- Fat and crumbs for the mold
the dough
- Make a heavy dough from the ingredients listed above and divide it into three parts.
- For fillings 2 and 3, simply stir the ingredients together.
- Roll out the individual dough portions into a rectangle, distribute the fillings on top, roll up the dough from the long side and place the rolls in a greased and crumbled loaf pan. The order does not matter.
- Bake the cake at 175 degrees in a preheated oven for about 1 hour. Let cool completely in the pan.
