If you bake cakes in a glass, they are not only suitable as perfectly portioned and decoratively arranged desserts. The little cakes are also a nice gift. In this article, we present three delicious recipes.
Baking cheesecake in a glass – this is how it works
To bake cakes in glass, you need heat-resistant glasses that do not taper towards the top. We recommend preserving jars because you can seal them well. Then the cake stays fresh longer. For six cakes you need 500 grams of low-fat quark, 100 grams of sugar, 2 eggs, 4 tablespoons of milk, two packets of vanilla sugar, two packets of vanilla pudding powder, and a pinch of salt.
- If you want your cheesecake to have a base, make it first. Grind 130 grams of chocolate cookies and mix the crumbs with 70 grams of melted butter.
- Divide the mixture among the six glasses. Then put them in the cold for a quarter of an hour and preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
- Meanwhile, prepare a cheese mixture from the quark, sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla sugar, and salt. The best way to do this is with a hand mixer.
- Fold the custard powder under the cheese mixture and distribute the batter evenly among the glasses. It is important that the glasses are no more than half full. The dough will rise while baking.
- When the oven is preheated, bake the little cheesecakes for about 30 minutes. If you want to preserve the finished cakes, close the jars immediately after taking them out. To do this, place the rubber ring briefly in cold water and close the blanket with the clips.
- Covered like this, let the cake cool. It will then keep for several days. Alternatively, enjoy the cheesecake in the glass immediately after it has cooled.
